  • UP / WORKOUT OF THE DAY — 55 minutes
    • A challenging full-body workout for all levels using dumbbells, jump ropes, sandbags and sleds in a field day-style CrossFit class!
  • ELEMENTS — 55 minutes
    • A welcoming class for anyone new to exercise or returning after a long layoff, as well as individuals with limited mobility, and seniors.
  • FITNESS IN THE PARK — 60 minutes
    • More bootcamp than barbell, this class is a change of pace for all levels to enjoy San Diego’s parks & sun with fun outdoor workouts!
  • BASEBALL / SOFTBALL STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
    • Lift, sprint and improve your on-field performance with our structured program for power, mobility and stability.
    • Individual, small-group and team training for high school varsity or rising, collegiate and pro players.

The Training Team

Stephanie Main

A San Diego native, Stephanie is a former ballerina and triathlete who has always understood the demands of training, and the importance of body maintenance and mobility. She began teaching yoga at YogaFlow SF and Planet Granite in San Francisco, CA. During that time, she also created Endure Yoga, a movement method for recovery and athletic resilience. With a focus on athletes and her own fitness journey, she found CrossFit in 2015, and began coaching at CrossFit Marin.


She now works with kids, teens, collegiate and professional athletes, and adults in both strength and conditioning, and yoga. Along with teaching and coaching, she has written and published e-books, and developed online programs for yoga, strength and post-workout recovery. Stephanie has also written over 50 articles for fitness publications including Oxygen Magazine, Muscle and Performance, Bodybuilding.com, SweatRX and Active.com.

John Main

John’s coaching career has been incredibly fortunate, allowing him to work with many different active individuals and athletes. He began in sports performance training, including lacrosse, soccer and baseball, as well as running and endurance events.


In 2003, John discovered CrossFit while working as a trainer in Washington, DC, where in 2009, he founded CrossFit MPH, one of the first affiliates in the city. John also helped establish CrossFit Walter Reed at the National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, training adaptive athletes returning home with injuries from military service. He taught at Reebok CrossFit ONE at Reebok’s world headquarters in Canton, MA, and he helped open CrossFit KLEW in Somerset, NJ. John also spent several years as a Head Trainer on CrossFit HQ’s Seminar Staff, and for the past 11 years, he has coached eight-time CrossFit Games athlete, Christy Adkins.
